How to Look Chic in Stripes

Stripe is a classic print that was popular in the 60's, some 4-5 years ago and has crawled it's way back in trend. Amongst all the retro prints, this timeless print can never go out of style, because of its unique appearance.

The most stylish way to wear stripes is to pair with sophisticated, bold accessories. Statement jewelries and colourful details are just some of the classic pieces that can upgrade your stripe.

Stripes can sometimes be too overwhelming. If you feel like the prints overpower you, then tone done the look with nude pumps or a sleek blazer or jacket. These structured pieces will fuse some formality to the casual look of your stripes.

Vertical stripes in body-fitting jumpsuits or dresses are perfect for slim women, but not for curvy ones. You may not for thick, bold stripes or thin ones depending on your style, but for a more flattering shape, thin lines are more preferable.

Horizontal stripes is more fitting for plus size or pregnant women as it gives the illusion of a slimmer shape.

Wearing stripes with stripes  can be fashionable especially in matching sets, but be sure to wear it strategically. When wearing striped outfit, keep waistline visible by showing your midriff with a crop top; highlighting your waistline with a belt  or a playing slanting lines that point to your waist.

Love love love both looks. You can pair your stripe with another printed fabric and not to forget you have to be careful doing this, you don't wanna go wrong.

Makeup Matters: Sure, you can use movie-grade cover-up and camouflage foundation like Dermablend Cover Creme to hide your hyperpigmentation, but summer is about wearing less. If the pigmentation is redder in hue, try a green-ish cover-up.  Reminder: This color-correcting step is meant to cover your pigmentation—not your skin—which should then be met with a foundation that matches your natural skin tone.   The Stronger Stuff Helps: If makeup ain't cutting it, you can ...

Just as a painter uses brushes to create on a canvas, makeup brushes are must use tools to utilize when painting your face. So here are five best brush tricks to keep in mind. Wash Your Brushes: Always wash your makeup brushes at least once in a week. Washing them preserves the hair and shape, and also remove excess makeup to keep the bristles hygienic. Use liquid soap or shampoo, massage and rinse until the water runs clear. If your brush feels dry and stiff, rub a small amount of olive oil through the bristles before cleaning. This will soften the hair. Blend: The most important secret to keep in mind when using brushes is always focussing on blending. You can take the darkest shadow and turn it into the seamless smokey eye if you blend well enough. Quality vs Quantity: You don't need a huge assortment of brushes for everyday use. The key brushes to have in your collection are a foundation, blush/powder, bronzer, contour and 3 eyeshadow brushes- one for application, one for...
