Traditional wears include ankara, lace and to mention but a few. It's all about balancing cultural and new-age fashion. Bringing in different styles to compete with casual outfits. Traditional outfits are mostly worn for special events like weddings, burial and to mention but a few. It can also be in different forms like skirt and blouse, iro and buba, jumpsuit, gown depending on the individual's taste. Some also are being sown as dinner gown especially with the use of lace.

You can totally rock this look as a wedding guest or even a bridesmaid for traditional wedding which is commonly done in Nigeria.
You might want to pair your outfit with a matching color for your gele and pair it with a silver clutch to tone the matching spree lol.
To make your fabric look nice and fitted on you, make sure you get the right fashion designer or tailor to get your measurement correctly and give you a wonderful style.

Like i said earlier, to tone down the matching spree pair it with a silver accessory or gold depends on how you want it.
You can also pair your ankara with a lace be it french, cord or any and it will give you that perfect look you want.
