5 Reasons Never To Share Your Makeup Products

Sharing makeup products is surprisingly common amongst ladies and it's a terrible habit! Ladies when touching up end up passing around tubes of lipsticks, lip gloss and balms, mascaras and so on between each other for quick use and in process transfer bacteria and even more!
Makeup products and tools are the perfect breeding places for bacteria. Avoid and never share your makeup products.

  • Risks of eye infections
Sharing mascara, eyeliners and eyeshadows can cause bad infections to the eye. This is extremely worse for those who wear contacts as the tear ducts can easily get infected by dirt and grime as well as bacteria transferred from a person to the other.
  • Risk of contaminating an entire makeup product
Sharing makeup product like loose powder attracts the risk of contaminating the whole powder- applying it with brush(es) that has been transferred from a person (and 'their bacteria') to the other- a product in a jar for instance get contaminated at just one touch/dab!
  • Risk of staph infection
Sharing makeup is one common cause of staphylococcus aureus and staphylococcus epidermis which can stay hidden in the makeup which just requires the perfect conditions/bacteria to set off the infection!
  • Risk of acne/breakouts
Sharing brushes and applicators for instance may trigger acne breakouts because shating those means getting someone else's bacteria, acne and to mention but a few to touch the other party's face which can't be good for the skin!

"A dewy finish refracts light better than a matte finish." If you're in need of more coverage, keep in mind a peach-colored concealer. If you have a darker complexion, go more orange. If the pigmentation is redder in hue, try a green-ish cover-up.  Reminder: This color-correcting step is meant to cover your pigmentation—not your skin—which should then be met with a foundation that matches your natural skin tone.   The Stronger Stuff Helps: If makeup ain't cutting it, you can ...
